Trainer Davison’s daughter Gemelle let fans and followers know that sadly her mum’s cancer has spread

She has been living with cancer for four-and-a-half years.

Daughter and former jockey Gemelle posted a message to followers thanking them for their support on social media.

She said: “Thank you, to each and every one of you, that have sent well wishes.

“Unfortunately mum (Zoe) is suffering from secondary breast cancer.

“She has put up an incredible fight for four-and-a-half years, sadly the cancer has spread in her body.

“Zoe wanted to hold out for Christmas and has done so.

“We’re now taking each day as it comes.”

Gemelle, who helps train racehorses alongside her mum, dedicated a shock 40-1 winner to her mum last November.

“This one’s for you mum.”
