RACHAEL BLACKMORE was forced off her rides on Thursday after suffering a nasty fall in schooling.
Ruby Walsh confirmed the Grand National heroine and Cheltenham Festival legend was injured working at home.
Blackmore suffered a nasty fall schooling ahead of her planned rides at Cheltenham
Blackmore missed three rides at Thurles, where she looked to have good chances in the shape of Secret She Keeps and Still Ciel.
She is down to ride once each day at Cheltenham’s first meeting of the season.
Nothing has yet been confirmed on Blackmore’s ability to make it over to Prestbury Park, but Walsh was certain she won’t be out long regardless.
Walsh said on Racing TV: “She doesn’t think she will be out for too long.
“I don’t think this time of year too many National Hunt riders like to be out as things start to hot up.
“She had a couple of rides but they have gone elsewhere.”
Blackmore is booked to ride She Is Electric in the 2.45 at Cheltenham on Friday and 33-1 Story Rory in the 3.50 on Saturday.
More to follow.
