RACING legend Bjorn Nielsen has put his amazing £9million mansion complete with its own private golf course and swimming pool on the market.

The Stradivarius owner has receded from the limelight since the racing retirement of his superstar stayer.

Nielsen, centre, accepts the Ascot Gold Cup trophy from the late Queen after Dettori won on Stradivarius

But despite putting his jaw-dropping Lambourn property – complete with its 175-acre plot – on the market, he insists he is here to stay.

Nielsen told Sky Sports Racing: “The only thing that’s changed is for the last six years I’ve had Stradivarius.

“He’s retired and things are a bit quiet now but that’s the only change.

“My last cheque will bounce before I die – I will be in this game forever.

“I’ll never find another Strad but we live in hope.

“I’m always looking for that next big horse.”

Nielsen could also be looking for the next big property judging by the look of things.

And he’ll be able to afford somewhere nice should the £9m asking price for this simply beautiful plot be met.

If you have £5m burning a hole in your pocket you can buy the house – complete with stunning indoor pool – by itself.

According to estate agents Windsor Clive International, Kingsdown House is ‘one of the finest houses’ in the area and approached ‘through electric gates up a tree-lined gravel avenue’.

The 1930s mansion has six bedrooms on the first floor, plus four bedrooms and a study.

The second floor has two more bedrooms, one bathroom, a staff flat with its own sitting room, kitchen and back staircase.

There is an air-conditioned wine cellar, a double garage and patio doors leading out onto the pitch and putt golf course and a tennis court.

The Kingsdown Yard racehorse training facility can be bought for £2.5m.

While another 53 acres and 94 acres of land can be bought for £600,000 and £1m respectively.

Former England striker Mick Channon previously used the yard while Ed Walker is there now.

Derby winner Snow Knight was trained there in addition to loads of Group 1 winners.
