Jockey Cian MacRedmond found himself stranded upside-down after his mount, Dream Today, became unsettled ahead of the 5f sprint.

As the other horses charged out of the stalls, the eight-year-old gelding stood still, preventing any harm from befalling MacRedmond.

MacRedmond managed to right himself and escape the stalls before the horse made any sudden movements.

Legendary jockey Ruby Walsh, known for his own experiences with being unseated, was amazed by the horse's astute awareness. Speaking on Racing TV, Walsh praised the horse's actions and described it as a "horse looking after a jockey."

Witnesses of the incident were equally impressed, with one stating, "Not sure I've seen anything like this in all my days going racing."

The Contest

Dream Today, trained by Adrian McGuinness, was an outsider in the race with odds of 28-1. The contest was ultimately won by Tawaazon, with odds of 18-1.
