STUNNING racegoers packed on the style for a third day in a row at York’s Ebor Festival on Friday.
Racing fans threw on their best – and most-daring – outfits on a sun-kissed penultimate day of the festivities.
Just like Thursday’s Ladies Day, there was a carnival atmosphere at the Yorkshire track as giddy punters looked forward to a day of betting.
With rain not forecast until the small hours and the mercury reaching 23 Celsius in York, fans were quick to take advantage by ditching maxi dresses and jackets for something a little more summery.
As always there were some extraordinary fascinators on show as punters flocked to the festival.
Bold colours and floral prints were the order of the day from the women.
But the men were equally keen to impress, throwing on their sharpest suits for the day at the races.
And with coronavirus restrictions relaxed, punters flocked down in droves to celebrate.

The penultimate day of the festival also played host to the ‘fastest’ race of the four-day event.
The Group 1 Coolmore Nunthorpe was officially ranked as the highest-rated 1,000m sprint in the world in 2020.
And fans were hoping for more high-tempo drama this year.
There are seven races to look forward to on day three of the Ebor Festival, with the first – the Sky Bet Stakes – underway at 1.50pm.
The day’s showpiece race – the Coolmore Nunthorpe – takes place at 3.35pm, with a whopping £400,000 prize for the winner.
And Friday’s racing comes to an end with the Sky Bet Miles at 5.10pm.
Both punters and owners alike will be hoping for some big winners, with former England star Michael Owen celebrating wildly after his £98,000 winner.
Owen’s Ever Given surged past the post in first place on day two of the prestigious festival.
The 41-year-old was left grinning from ear to ear as he landed a share of another bumper payday having already raked in £36,000 on the first day.
