Superstar Racehorse Hukum Set to Make Millions at Stud

Retirement from Racing

After a successful career on the track, six-year-old racehorse Hukum is ready to retire and enter the lucrative world of stud breeding. The impressive King George winner earned his owners a staggering £1.4 million during his racing days.

A Stellar Career

Hukum, the full brother to the renowned Baaeed, had an exceptional run in 2022 and 2023. He secured a brilliant treble by winning the Coronation Cup, Brigadier Stakes, and the King George. His final race took place earlier this month, finishing sixth in the Arc behind Ace Impact.

Future in Japan

Hukum will now embark on a new journey in Japan, where he will fulfill his duties as a stallion under the Darley banner. The horse's trainer, Owen Burrows, praised Hukum's outstanding qualities, including his class, guts, and determination to win.

A Trainer's Gratitude

Speaking on behalf of owner Shadwell, Burrows expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to train Hukum. The horse's exceptional performance elevated Burrows' career to new heights. He highlighted Hukum's impressive victories in the Coronation Cup and King George, which will be remembered by racing fans for years to come.

With his striking appearance and athletic build, Hukum, as a full-brother to Baaeed, is expected to be highly sought after by breeders in Japan.
