Two female jockeys embroiled in foul-mouthed bust-up five months after first explosive row charged with misconduct

TWO female jockeys involved in a foul-mouthed bust-up have been charged with misconduct – five months after their first altercation.

Anna Jordsjo and Caitlin Jones’ bitter feud erupted again after a race on Saturday.

Jones, left, and Jordsjo, right, were involved in a second foul-mouthed bust-up

Both were hauled in front of stewards after using abusive language towards each other in an explosive confrontation.

The pair saw red after the running of the ironically titled G&J Civil Handicap in Adelaide, Australia.

The heated row was believed to have stemmed from an early speed battle in the race.

Jones’ ride, Exalted Queen, cut through rivals to lead early and eventually finish fourth, while Jordsjo’s mount Fay’s Joy finished well down the pack.

But after hearing evidence from both, bosses had no option but to charge them with misconduct for ‘using foul language towards each other’.

Both pleaded guilty and Jones was handed a £565 fine with half of it suspended for 12 months while Jordsjo also got a suspended £280 fine.

This is the second time the pair have gone for each other.

In August last year Jones, whose extreme diet once caused her to lose the ability to sweat and led to fears her brain was swelling, pleaded guilty to using abusive language at Jordsjo.

The steward’s report on the jockeys’ bust-up in full

She was fined £280 for the outburst at Morphettville racecourse.

This is not the first time Jordsjo – who recently recorded an incredible five-timer – has been at the centre of controversy.

Her ex-boyfriend Josh Cartwright was banned for 18 months after barging into other horses so she could win a race.
