JUST when you thought you’d seen it all on a racecourse, Trentham had other ideas.
Barely minutes had passed after a streaker was nearly killed running on to the track, when two NAKED runners were spotted.
Horses were circling ready for the next race at the New Zealand track when the cameras panned to two nude joggers.
It was an eventful Wellington Cup day to say the least.
The commentators were attempting to go through the field for the next race but couldn’t help but laugh when the runners were snapped.
Spectators were allowed on course but it looked like the pair wished to enjoy the action in a different way.
Users took to social media in amazement after the two crazy incidents at Trentham.
“What is in the track bar’s beer?”, joked one.
Another added: “Must be only full strength beers at Trentham today…”
Top jockey Umberto Rispoli also weighed in: “The covid-19 hit very hard over there guys? Crazy!”
The incident happened after another when a man trespassed on to the track in the eighth race.
Somehow all the jockeys and horses managed to avoid the man.
Had he been hit, there’s no doubt he would have been killed and a horse or jockey could have suffered a serious injury, if not worse.
