Virtual Grand National Sweepstake kit: Download your free Aintree kit for to bet with friends and family

THERE’S nothing that gets your blood pumping more than seeing your horse land the Grand National Sweepstake.

This year the horse race that stops the human race is now the simulation that stops a nation – but that doesn’t mean you can’t still stick it to your mates!

The 2020 Randox Health Grand National will go ahead – but in slightly different circumstances

Sun Racing’s Virtual Grand National Sweepstake Kit is your ultimate companion for the world’s greatest race, and we’ve put together all the runners, riders and silks in one epic graphic (which you can find below).

Simply download it here, print it off and cut out all the names of this year’s contenders.

Mix ’em up and whack them in a hat, then jump on a video call for the draw with your family and friends.

It’s not a sweepstake without financial incentive, so make sure you all put a couple of quid into the kitty – though we take no blame for any money lost! In the current climate, you could always donate your winnings to charity.

Aintree’s simulation is a fantastic reflection of the real race – all 40 runners jump the 30 fences as they would in the Liverpool spectacular – and the computer takes into account as many variables as could be dreamt up by the most diligent of form gurus.

Essentially, this is the most accurate way of deciding the winner of the Grand National without any real horses taking part!

Among the names to watch out for are Tiger Roll – he’s won the race for the last two years and goes for a record third attempt, Burrows Saint – he won the Irish Grand National last year and has the services of star rider Rachael Blackmore, and Kimberlite Candy – he looked a National natural at Warwick and carries the famous green and gold silks of JP McManus.

If you’re lucky enough to pick out any of those you’re laughing, as in the last few years of the virtual race the winners have come from the head of the market.

Although that’s not certain to be the case this year, you’re sure to get a good run for your money!

Prizes can be given for 1st-4th – as they would be in the real thing – so don’t fear if you’re not in contention for top spot.

Finally, make sure you don’t miss the event which will be streamed at 5pm on Saturday – and get your sweepstake sorted out well in advance!
