THIS is the brilliant moment Frankie Dettori goes absolutely crazy celebrating Italy’s win over Spain in the Euro 2020 semi-final.
The legendary jockey was in the stands with fellow rider and Italian Andrea Atzeni to see Roberto Mancini’s men win on penalties.
Dettori, 50, was seen in among all the other fans, cap on backwards, jumping around in joy and singing at the top of his voice.
He captioned the video ‘beautiful night @azzurri!!’ and fans were absolutely loving his antics.
One, in reference to Dettori’s trademark post-race celebration, wrote underneath the clip: “Flying dismount off Chiellini if you win on Sunday.”
Another said: “Frankie and Andrea are happy!”
While a fellow Twitter user wrote: “Go on Frankie!”
Dettori can enjoy a day off today before riding at Newmarket tomorrow, on the first day of the three-day Moet & Chandon Festival.
He has rides on the heavily fancied Stowell, Tolstoy and Tenbury Wells.
But he has wisely kept Sunday free so he can see his country in the final against either England or Denmark.
Dettori left Milan for England aged 14 – but he has lost none of his roots.
A pasta and red wine expert, the ageless jockey maintains his accent too.
Oh, and being Italian, of course he has a love of Ferraris.
In fact, he loves them so much that he has a special heated garage to keep them in perfect condition – well, the ones he isn’t ‘frightened’ of driving at least.
Dettori had to get rid of his Scuderia because he was left covered in bruises whenever he drove it.
He replaced it with a £190,000 Ferrari 488 Spider.
But it could be Italy and not Dettori who hit top gear on Sunday night.
