He received a note from daughter Edie after their session

Andy, 35, posted the letter on his Instagram story following his first coaching venture.

However, it didn’t go to plan, with his daughter saying she was going to quit the sport for a while.

He wrote on social media: “My first venture into the coaching world has ended in disgrace.

“Five-year-old daughter has quit telling me ‘I don’t want to play anymore… you stand too close to me.'”

The note featured a hand-drawn picture of her playing tennis with a huge red cross over it.

It read: “Dear daddy, I am not going to play tennis for a while. Lots of love, Edie.”

Andy and wife Kim, who wed in 2015, have four kids.

Their eldest daughter is Sophia, and she has two younger sisters.

Edie was the couple’s second child and their fourth child was also a girl but her name is not known to the public.

Their third child is their only boy, Teddie.

Earlier this month, the tennis star shared some rare pictures from his family holiday.

Andy and wife Kim generally like to keep their family life tightly under wraps but the two-time Wimbledon champ shared some adorable pictures of their children enjoying the Spanish sun and playing at the beach.

Andy shared a post in his Instagram feed showing some of what the family got up to, and thanked the resort they were staying at.
