High Spirits To Fizzling Excitement
Andy Murray was buzzing after Team GB's advancement to the Davis Cup quarter-final. But his joy quickly turned sour when he realized he had to give a teammate a ride home.
Unleashing Frustration in the Car
Murray, 36, gave Jack Draper, 21, a lift home from the event. However, Draper's beer drinking and Proclaimers' singing did not sit well with Murray. In a video posted on social media, Murray can be seen making a crude gesture towards Draper as they drove from Manchester's AO Arena to London.
Quiet Journey Interrupted
After celebrating the victory over France, Murray just wanted a peaceful trip home. But Draper had other plans. Murray shared the video to let his fans sympathize with his frustration.
A Night of Emotions
Friday night was an emotional one for Murray, as he revealed that he missed his grandmother's funeral to play in the Davis Cup. He dedicated his win against Leandro Riedi to her and fought back tears during his post-match interview.
