Emma Raducanu 2023 Grand Slam chances revealed as Wimbledon win 25/1 following Australian Open exit

, Emma Raducanu 2023 Grand Slam chances revealed as Wimbledon win 25/1 following Australian Open exit

EMMA RADUCANU’S best Grand Slam chance this year is in the US Open this Autumn.

That’s according to bookmakers Betfair, who have priced up her chances in the remaining three Slams after she was dumped out the Australian Open.

Raducanu had battled back from injury and did well to even turn up for the event that started earlier this week.

The 20-year-old came through her opening round well before coming up against world number 7 Coco Gauff in the second round.

Raducanu played well but was no match for the American who ran out a straight sets winner.

Her attention will now turn to the remaining Slams and, more importantly, have a sustained period without injury.

Betfair reckon her best chance comes at Flushing Meadows and she is 22/1 to become a two-time champion in the US in September.

She’ll again be the poster girl when Wimbledon comes around in the summer.

Her chances there look slim at the moment also, with 25/1 the odds quoted by Betfair.

First up out the three is the French Open, where she seemingly has less of a chance than the others at 33/1.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “After her Australian Open second round exit to world No.7 Coco Gauff on Wednesday, we’ve taken a look at the other Grand Slam titles Emma Raducanu could win this year.

“All eyes will be on the 20-year-old when Wimbledon comes along and she is 25/1 to go all the way in that competition.

“Meanwhile, Raducanu is 33/1 to win the French Open and 22/1 to lift a second US Open title in New York.”
