Emma Raducanu survives tricky test to reach Wimbledon second round with straight sets win over Alison van Uytvanck

EMMA RADUCANU bounced back from her recent injury worries to win on her Centre Court debut.

The US Open champion, 19, had just half an hour of match practice on the grass heading into Wimbledon.

And she faced a tricky first-round task against Belgian world No46 Alison van Uytvanck.

But the British teenager put on a fine performance to come through 6-4 6-4.
