The British number one will make only her third appearance at a Grand Slam this week but the pressure will be on after she won the US Open in September.
Raducanu enters the Australian Open as the No.17 seed but her preparations have been far from ideal.
The 19-year-old started her 2022 campaign at a Sydney tournament but was defeated in the first round by Elena Rybakina 0-6, 1-6.
