NICK KYRGIOS broke his silence on Rafael Nadal giving him a walkover to the Wimbledon final – as partner Costeen Hatzi labelled the feat ‘insane’.
Kyrgios faces Novak Djokovic or Brit Cameron Norrie in Sunday’s showpiece after Nadal pulled out of Friday’s other semi-final due to injury.
And in a loved-up Instagram exchange with Costeen, the Aussie bad boy wrote: “My baby what a ride it’s been. Why not one more?”
Sydney blogger Costeen labelled the demon from Down Under a ‘warrior’ who ‘deserved’ his first ever place in a Grand Slam final.
The couple are understood to have got engaged earlier this year and she regularly shares their cosy pictures on Instagram.
This time she posted: “Finals of Wimbledon. This is insane. I love you and we all can’t wait to see you out there with all our support@kingkyrgios.
“When you have the right people around you anything is possible.”
Costeen added in her Instagram story: “Been a long road, warrior.
“You worked hard and stuck with it and it’s finally paying off… you deserve it.”
Meanwhile, Kyrgios wished Nadal well – albeit after starting his message by suggesting they don’t have much in common.
Alongside a picture of them shaking hands at the net, he posted: “Different personalities. @rafaelnadal
“I hope your recovery goes well and we all hope to see you healthy soon till next time….”
