NICK KYRGIOS hit out at the “stupidity” of Novak Djokovic after the World No1 tested for positive for coronavirus.
The Serbian, 33, decided to host the Adria Tour during a global pandemic and without social-distancing measures in place.
Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Viktor Troicki and Borna Coric contracted Covid-19 after taking part in the event.
The 17-time Grand Slam decided to celebrate the end of his charity tournament in Serbia with a wild night out.
Kyrgios shared footage of Djokovic – who has since issued a grovelling apology – dancing with his shirt off on the stage to his Twitter page.
Alongside the video, he wrote: “Prayers up to all the players that have contracted Covid-19.
“Don’t @ me for anything I’ve done that has been ‘irresponsible’ or classified as ‘stupidity’ – this takes the cake.”
He also retweeted the same video, but this time it had the caption: “How dumb can they all be seriously?”
Earlier this week, Kyrgious described Djokovic’s decision to go ahead with the tournament as “boneheaded”.
The Australian wrote: “Boneheaded decision to go ahead with the ‘exhibition’, speedy recovery fellas, but that’s what happen when you disregard all protocols.
“This is NOT A JOKE.”
Djokovic’s wife Jelena also contracted Covid-19 following the tennis tournament in Serbia and Croatia.
