THE Women’s singles Wimbledon final will take place this weekend, with Marketa Vondrousova and Ons Jabeur battling for the grand slam title.

Last year’s final saw Elena Rybakina become the first player from Kazakhstan to win a Grand Slam title after beating Ons Jabeur.
The Tunisian will be hoping to go a step further at Wimbledon this year after she came from a set down to beat Aryna Sabalenka to book her spot in the final.
When is the Women’s Single final?
- The final will take place Saturday, July 15.
- It is scheduled to get underway at 2 pm.
- Centre Court will be used for the final hosting of approximately 15,000 fans.

The winner of the women’s singles will lift the Venus Rosewater Dish and receive a cheque for £2.35m- while the runners-up will earn £1.2m.
That is 17.5 per cent more than Rybakina pocketed last year.
SW19 will give away a record of £44.7m in prize money to all players this year.
