Jack Draper took the first set against Novak Djokovic

Who is Jack Draper?

Jack Draper was born in Sutton in 2001. He is currently ranked 250 in the world.

In 2018, he reached the Wimbledon Juniors final before being edged out by Taiwan’s Tseng Chun-hsin.

Draper had never qualified for a grand slam before this year but did make it to the Miami Open where he was forced to retire in the first round against Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Kukushkin.

And at Queen’s Club Draper showed he had an extremely bright future in grass court tennis by stunning third seed Jannik Sinner.

And in the second round he beat experienced Kazakh and world number 39 Alexander Bublik before being defeated by fellow Brit and eventual finalist Cameron Norrie.

But Draper has now pulled off his biggest shock yet, taking the first set off five-time champion Novak Djokovic in the first round at the All England Club.

Who would Jack Draper play in round two if he beats Djokovic?

If Draper can cause arguably the greatest upset of all time, he will face either 2018 Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson or Chilean qualifier Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera.
