JO-WILFRIED TSONGA is on the verge of retirement, but he is looking to go out with a bang in front of his home crowd.
The two-time Wimbledon semi-finalist has declared his intention to quit tennis after the conclusion of the French Open.
But during the tournament, he can expect the support of wife Noura El Shwekh.
Who is Jo-Wilfried Tsonga’s wife Noura El Shwekh?
ORIGINALLY from Switzerland, Noura met the French tennis star in 2014.
She was first spotted watching the big-serving Tsonga in a Davis Cup semi-final in Paris, before Noura frequently started to accompany him on the ATP tour.
The pair like to keep their private life away from the spotlight and only share the odd snap with their Instagram followers.
But Noura is often seen court side and is a regular at Grand Slams.
When did the pair marry?
THE couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in June 2018.
It was held in a French château in the Beaujolais region of the country, with several tennis stars in attendance.
Noura posted to thousands of Instagram followers: “Changing my name for the one I love more and more everyday”.
Do they have children?
THE couple revealed they were expecting a baby in November 2016.
Their first child, Sugar, was born on March 17, 2017.
In 2021, Tsonga announced the birth of his second son.
