Jodie Anna Burrage is a British tennis player who was born on May 28, 1999.

She was born in Kingston upon Thames but grew up in Hindhead, Surrey.

Jodie has three younger brothers – Zach, Ben and Seb – and got into tennis through her mum, Yvonne, who used to play.

Her father is called Chris.

At the beginning of her tennis career, Jodie was mentored by former tour professionals Colin Beecher and Lucie Ahl.

In 2020, when she was 21, Jodie considered giving up tennis after having to undergo a third ankle operation.

Thankfully, she never, and on July 4, 2023, she won her first round at Wimbledon against Caty McNally.

Jodie is also a big golf fan and started playing when she was out of tennis due to an injury in 2019.
