Michal Hrdlicka is a Czech TV presenter and sports analyst.

He also serves as Pliskova’s manager.

He currently appears on O2 TV Sports in the Czech Republic, though has a bit of a bad boy reputation which saw him sacked from his previous role with TV Nova.

Hrdlicka and Pliskova first met on a night out in 2015 after the Czech Republic’s victory in the Fed Cup.

In 2016 they made their relationship official with Pliskova claiming to have fallen in love with him and his sense of humour.

The scandal that saw him sacked from Nova TV came the same year, as he was seen drunk and urinating in the streets of the Czech city of Karlovy Vary, where Bond movie Casino Royale was filmed.

He was also spotted being intimate with other women while in a drunken state.

However, Pliskova stuck by her man and revealed in a press conference at the 2017 US Open that they had got engaged, after she was asked about the ring on her finger.

In 2018, they exchanged vows at an elaborate ceremony in Monaco and their marriage has been scandal-free ever since.

As a result of her wedding, Pliskova’s real name is now Karolina Hrdlickova.
