Madison Keys, born February 17, 1995, is an American professional tennis player.
She is known for having a fast serve and one of the most powerful forehands in the game.
Her successful sporting career has seen her ranked as high as world No. 7 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), a ranking she first achieved in October 2016.
Keys’ professional career began with a WTA tour level win aged 14 and she had secured a place in the world top 50 by the time she was 18.
She has registered some monumental wins in her career already, including winning seven WTA tournament titles and the Cincinnati Open in 2019.
Other winning titles include, Eastbourne 2014, Birmingham 2016, Stanford 2017, Charleston 2019, Adelaide 2022 and Eastbourne 2023.
Keys came up against world No. 1 Serena Williams in the semi-finals of the 2015 Australian Open and moved into the world top 10 in 2016 after a win at the Birmingham Classic.
After taking a step back from the sport due to an injury, Keys made a strong comeback in 2017 when she reached the final of the US Open.
She has also reached the semi-final of both the Australian and French Open, as well as the quarter final of Wimbledon in 2015.
In 2023, Keys returned to Wimbledon, where she once again reached the quarter-final, before being defeated by Aryna Sabalenka.

On March 2, 2023, Keys’ took to her official Instagram page to announce the news of her engagement to partner Bjorn Frantangelo – much to the delight of her fans and followers.
She and Fratangelo can be seen hand-in-hand, with a stunning sparkling engagement ring taking centre stage.
Captioning the snap, Keys’ simply penned: ”Forever,” alongside a heart emoji.
Keys’ has been dating fellow American tennis player Frantangelo since 2017.
Frantangelo, born July 19, 1993, in Pittsburgh, USA, has also enjoyed a successful career.
The professional tennis player began playing the sport at just 3- years-old, and is named after tennis champion Björn Borg.
He started his career off strong, winning the French Open boys’ title as a 17-year-old in 2011, defeating Dominic Thiem.
This win propelled him to a career high of No. 2 in the junior rankings.
Going on to play professionally, Frantangelo has mainly played on the ITF Pro Circuit since 2009.
In 2016, the tennis star won the 2016 French Open Wild Card Challenge by reaching the semi-finals in Sarasota and winning the Savannah Challenger the following week.
Frantangelo put the wildcard to good use by defeating Sam Querrey in the first round of the French Open, reaching the top 100 for the first time and receiving a ranking of No. 99 in June 2016.
This was also his first career-match win in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament.
A year later, Fratangelo reached the semi-finals at the 2017 Hall of Fame Tennis Championships.
In 2021, the professional player qualified at the 2021 French Open, before losing to Cameron Norrie.
