Which will mean that this will be her second consecutive time not featuring at SW19 having missed last time due to mental health struggles.

Why isn’t Naomi Osaka playing at Wimbledon 2022?
Osaka has had a injury-hit season where she has only managed to accumulate a total of 17 matches.
And the Japanese star confirmed on Twitter that a left Achilles injury has ruled her out of this year’s Wimbledon.

Osaka mentioned that her Achilles ‘still isn’t right’ and then continued to describe where she is at mentally.
Naomi wrote: “I feel like life keeps dealing cards and you’re never gonna be used to them.
“But it’s how you adapt to uncomfortable situation that really says stuff about your character.”

Osaka’s ranking has plummeted to number 14 following her continuous absences, but the talented youngster occupied top spot in 2019.
And she climbed up the ladder by winning FOUR Grand Slams since the beginning of her professional career.
