JOE SALISBURY hopes his body holds up as he continues his pursuit of the Wimbledon Doubles Double.

The Londoner will play twice today with an excellent chance of winning two pots of silverware this weekend.

Joe Salisbury faces two crunch matches today including his mixed doubles quarter-final with Harriet Dart

First up at 1pm this afternoon, with American partner Rajeev Ram, it’s the men’s doubles semi-finals against Croatian top seeds Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic on No1 Court.

That was the result of an impressive 6-3 6-4 7-6 win over Colombians Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.

Then a few hours later it’s the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles alongside Harriet Dart against wildcards Naomi Broady of Stockport and Jeremy Chardy of France.

The last player to win the men’s doubles and mixed doubles at Wimbledon was Indian Leander Paes in 1999.

Salisbury, 29, said: “Hopefully the body stays okay. I’m feeling pretty good now. I will give it my all.

“I’m happy to be in both. I’m having a good run and want to keep it going.

“Hopefully I can still be here and have the chance to win both.

“The body is fine. There have been a lot of matches this week.
