Whoever loses the huge showdown is left staring retirement in the face – but the winner puts themselves in line for at least one more massivepayday.

And Eubank Jr, the new face of Sky Boxing, is open to yet another domestic mega-fight once Khan and Brook put reputations on the line.

He said: “If the fans want it, then absolutely. We’ll have to see what happens in the fight with him and Amir.

“Would a fight with the winner be a possibility? Absolutely. If the fans want it, I’m down 100 per cent.”

Eubank Jr has been in talks to fight Brook before but Khan would be an all new alternative for the son of British boxing legend Chris Sr.

Khan has never fought under 155lb, a weight he tried in 2016 against Canelo Alvarez, only to be brutally knocked out.

Whereas Eubank Jr is a career 160lb middleweight, who has fought in the 168lb super-middle division as well.

As the bigger man, he has further physical attributes including a 73in reach compared to Khan’s 71in.

Eubank Jr is also an inch taller at 5ft 11in and naturally fights one stone heavier.

Khan, a former unified light-welterweight champion, is the more experienced campaigner with 39 fights.

But Eubank Jr is not far behind with 34 bouts in his career already, which includes 23 KOs.

Khan has 21 stoppages but fought 14 world champs during his career, compared to Eubank Jr who has faced only four, losing to Billy Joe Saunders and George Groves.

His biggest wins have come against rival James DeGale – who retired straight after – and middleweight contender Liam Williams.

Khan has been beaten by Bredis Prescott, Lamont Peterson, Danny Garcia, Canelo and Terence Crawford.

But he recorded standout wins over Marco Antonio Barrera, Paulie Malignaggi, Zab Judah and Devon Alexander.
