Dmitry Bivol up for undisputed title decider with KO king Artur Beterbiev while Joshua Buatsi fights Anthony Yarde

DMITRY BIVOL is up for an undisputed title decider with Artur Beterbiev – while Joshua Buatsi fights Anthony Yarde in the meantime.

Bivol is the WBA light-heavyweight champion and most recently stunned Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez into defeat in May.

Artur Beterbiev is boxing’s only champ with a 100 per cent KO ratio

Russian countryman Beterbiev has the WBC, IBF and WBO belts and the record of boxing’s only champ with a 100 per cent knockout ratio.

A 175lb blockbuster between the two has emerged as one of the sport’s finest fights on offer.

But Yarde, 30, is the WBO mandatory for Beterbiev’s belt and stands in the way of the hard-hitting unification.

Buatsi, 29, is also primed for a shot at Bivol’s belt, further adding complication.

The pair of Londoners could step back and allow for the undisputed super-fight, all while facing each other in a semi-final.

It is an idea Bivol likes, as he told SunSport: “It would be up to the promoters and my team, everybody knows what I personally want.

“Sure, this is another option, hopefully we will find out soon how things will play out.”

Bivol, 31, is equally open to fighting unbeaten Buatsi, a bronze medalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

But his preference remains Beterbiev, 37, who scored a KO against Joe Smith Jr, 32, his 18th on the spin.

Bivol said: “I have said many times before, I am open to this, my goal has always been to become undisputed in my weight class.

“I believe this fight will happen sooner or later and it will be a very meaningful and intriguing fight for all the fans.”

Despite Beterbiev’s brutal power and ice cold killer instincts, Bivol remains unfazed, having seen off boxing’s No1 in Canelo, 31.

He said: “He is a strong fighter, yes. I was asked similar questions before the Canelo fight.

“We will see, when the fight comes, I will work with my trainer and my team on a game plan and strategy.”
