‘What the f*** are you doing?’ – Erik ten Hag caught screaming X-rated blast at Man Utd stars in Crystal Palace game

EVEN at 3-1 up in the closing stages of today’s win over Crystal Palace, Erik ten Hag was far from happy with his players.

The Manchester United boss appeared to be caught letting out an X-rated shout from the side of the pitch.

Erik ten Hag appeared to let out an X-rated rant during United’s match with Crystal Palace

With just two minutes left to play, Ten Hag clearly wasn’t happy with his side.

After a long ball forward from David De Gea, MUTV’s live coverage of the game picked up what appeared to be Ten Hag screaming: “What the f*** are you doing?”

Although it’s not entirely clear exactly who Ten Hag was aiming his blast at from the touchline, or if it was another member of his backroom staff.

Fans on social media believed the shout was either directed at De Gea for the long ball, or youngster Charlie Savage.

But either way the Dutchman has been quick to stamp down on his players with his disciplinarian style.

SunSport exclusively revealed earlier this month that Ten Hag had been quick to lay down the law after getting down to work with his players.

He then warned his players yesterday that he will come down hard on any member of the squad who dares to step out of line.

He spoke of the need for discipline – on and off the pitch – in order to get Manchester United back competing at the top.

Ten Hag revealed: “I think one of the issues when you want to get results, you need a team.

“It is organisation, co-operation, and also you need discipline.

“When there is no discipline around, you will not find it on the pitch as well. With such issues I’m quite severe.

“But I think it is on the players themselves to also be severe to each other, because if they want to achieve success they have to stick together. Sometimes there is a need for correction.

“I have high standards because you are here, you are playing for Manchester United, then you must bring every day on the pitch. That is an expectation I have.”

Goals from Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho secured a 3-1 win over Palace for Ten Hag today.

But his third consecutive win as boss was marred by a straight red card for youngster Will Fish, and boos from sections of the Melbourne crowd aimed at skipper Harry Maguire.
