This ultra-consistent hurdler was a close-up third at Newton Abbot last time in what looked a stronger contest than this. He has plenty of stamina and is ready to score again.
SONNING (3.05 Musselburgh, nb)
Kicked off this season with a couple of good runs at Sedgefield and didn’t like the quick ground last time. It should be perfect today.
BLOW YOUR WAD (12.40 Kempton, treble)
My pick was classy in bumpers and went close on hurdles debut at Ascot last month. There should be a lot more to come.
