Anthony Joshua warns boozed-up students they face broken jaw if they abuse him again – and reveals he bought 100 pizzas

ANTHONY JOSHUA warned boozed-up student trolls they face a broken jaw if they ever hurl abuse at him again.

The 32-year-old former heavyweight world champ has moved his camp to Loughborough University and enjoyed mixing on campus.

Anthony Joshua spoke at the press conference to publicise his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk

Joshua said any students abusing him in future would get a ‘broken jaw’

But in May, after taking a late stroll to ease a restless night, a group hurled drunken jibes at him from the safety of their dorm windows.

So, without his entourage, the no-nonsense star knocked on their door, took off his trainers and confronted the fools who had messed with the wrong guy.

After visiting SunSport HQ to promote the August 20 rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, the powerhouse explained: “One night I couldn’t sleep at 3am so I went for a walk.

“And the reason I had to address them is that their block and my block are next to each other and they cannot get comfortable calling me names from a window.

AJ steps into Hamilton racism row and reveals he suffered similar abuse

“I told them ‘I am here to work, I am not playing games with anyone and they were crossing the wrong person’.

“There were four or five of them and that’s the only reason I dealt with them in that fashion.

“I told them that, if they see me on my own again and they want to shout that s*** at me, I will break your jaw.

“We left it at that and I spoke to them afterwards and we shook hands.”

AJ joked that the gang of bottle jobs now refuse to look at him around the site, even though he has been buying them pizzas once a week since his arrival.

But he stands by his decision to face up to the crowd and hopes it stops them pulling similar stunts against weaker prey.

And no matter how many millions of pounds or fans he has in the bank, he will never be frightened of a fight.

“I showed them so much respect when I first got there,” he said. “I buy them all 100 pizzas every weekend, I try to do what I can for all people and they are uni students.

“And I feel sorry for any student that might need to walk past that window and feels like they can’t because they are afraid of getting abused or threatened.

“When people are intoxicated they are not their normal selves, alcohol does not help.

“But I am a normal person and I have good and bad days.

“You cannot expect me to be different from anybody else just because of what I have to lose.

“You could take it all, take everything I have, and I will still be the same man.
