Canelo Alvarez leaves blogger peeing BLOOD after taking champ’s brutal body punches ahead of Dmitry Bivol fight

CANELO ALVAREZ left a brave but foolish blogger peeing BLOOD after taking some brutal body punches.

Sports blogger “Large” – who works for Barstool – visited Canelo in the Mexican’s US training base of San Diego.

And he may have regretted doing so after agreeing to wear a body belt and allow the world’s best boxer to punch him repeatedly.

After taking the first shot, Large said: “That’s full speed? That’s f***ing terrible, I’m gonna be p***ing blood.”

It turns out his prediction was right as a day later Large revealed a picture of his urine, which was a red murky colour.

Canelo, 31, is one of the most destructive body punchers in all of boxing but WBA light-heavyweight champion Bivol, also 31, remains undeterred.

He told Fight Hub TV: “Of course he has a good power, he has a good skills, but most of people think about him like he’s untouchable or he’s unstoppable, or he has enough power to beat super heavyweights.

“Sometimes it’s funny to hear about him from people. First of all, he’s a good fighter but he’s a man and he had a loss and draw — it means if you believe in your skills, if you’re good boxer you could make him one more loss.”

Canelo last year became undisputed super-middleweight champion but returns to light-heavyweight on May 7 in Las Vegas.

He has only once fought at 175lb against Bivol’s countryman Sergey Kovalev, 39, which ended in a round 11 knockout.

Bivol commented: “I am bigger, but not big like Sergey Kovalev. I think (I’m) similar size to Canelo because I don’t lose too much weight in light heavyweight division.

“But what about Sergey Kovalev? We all knows, because he said that he didn’t have enough time to preparation.

“He was empty after his last fight, and then he took fight against Canelo and [he wasn’t really confident in his ability to go all 12 rounds].

“Of course you have good power to stop your opponent in the earlier rounds.

“If you don’t have enough power he will come to you every time, keep coming, keep coming, and he will eat you.”
