Jake Paul’s Next Boxing Match Confirmed for December 15

YouTube Star Jake Paul Set to Step Back into the Ring

Jake Paul has officially announced that he will be returning to the boxing ring on December 15, where he will face off against Andre August. The highly-anticipated fight will take place in Orlando, Florida, marking Paul's first fight since his match against MMA star Nate Diaz in August.

Details of the Fight

The fight is scheduled to take place at cruiserweight and will consist of eight rounds, according to combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani. Paul took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to confirm the match, stating, "Ask and I shall deliver. August has more KO's than me, more wins than me, more experience than me, but I like to gamble. The path to world champ starts here. Just straight up boxing."

Introducing Andre August

Although August may be a relative unknown in the boxing world, he has an impressive professional record. The 35-year-old has won 10 out of his 12 professional bouts, with five of those victories coming by knockout. His only defeat was against American boxer Eric Abraham in 2018. August's most recent win was against Brandon Martin, who was undefeated at the time.

A Shift in Jake Paul's Boxing Career

This upcoming match against August marks a significant shift in Jake Paul's boxing career. While he initially started by fighting fellow YouTubers, Paul has gradually transitioned to facing former UFC stars. With this upcoming bout, it seems that the YouTuber is moving away from exhibition fights and fully embracing the professional boxing world.

Paul currently holds a 6-1 boxing record, with his only loss coming from a split decision against Tommy Fury earlier this year in Saudi Arabia.
