KSI and Paul were in line to settle their bitter score at the end of the year but the American’s loss looks to have given those plans to KO.

So now KSI’s attention has turned to Fury, should he get past Joe Fournier in his May 13 return fight.

Promoter Kalle Sauerland told Pro Boxing Fans: “Had a great meeting with (Fury’s dad) John, we both like the fight.

“It’s about getting a deal done now. Look, John seems to be like a very simple person to deal with which I like, straight shooter.

“We had a good meeting, it was nice to go up to Morecombe and yeah, I’m confident we can get it done.

“But we’re not overlooking obviously Joe Fournier first.”

Paul, 26, looked set to exercise his rematch clause with Fury, 23, following his loss in Saudi Arabia.

But the YouTuber has since been linked with instead returning against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 37.

And Fury himself teased fighting a “bigger” name than Paul, fuelling speculation of facing KSI.

But first the British prankster-turned prizefighter must beat nightclub tycoon and 9-0 boxer Fournier, 40.

Sauerland added: “Let’s get a deal done first. I’m sure they’ve got a few other options on the table as well.

“I hope we can get it done but at the same time we’ve got to focus on the Fournier fight.

“It’s not unsimilar to the situation Jake Paul was in and we don’t want to make the same mistakes and we won’t.”

Punching Techniques

There are seven types. Each punch has its own technique. Some punches need more power than others. An example of this is an uppercut, which requires tremendous force. A straight punch on the other side requires less power, but is more effective than other punches.

There are also different combinations. These are combinations made up of several punches that can be used together to achieve one goal. A combination may contain several parts. A combination may include multiple parts. For example, damage to the jaw of an opponent can be caused by a left hook and a right cross.

Guard Techniques

A boxer protects himself by using his body. He uses his arms, legs, elbows, knees, knees, and feet to do this.

Legs

To defend against kicks, a boxer should use his legs. If he gets kicked, he raises one leg and turns away from his attacker. To avoid being kicked in the side, he bends down if the attacker attacks from the front. However, if the attack comes from behind, he stands up straight and blocks the kick with his foot.

Elbows

Because they inflict pain, elbow strikes can be very effective. You can deliver an elbow strike directly or indirectly. Directly refers to hitting your opponent with the forearm, while indirect means you hit him using another part of your arms.

Hands

Boxers use their hands as a shield against incoming punches. Boxers use their hands to stop incoming punches. They raise their fists up above their heads and move towards the attack. Then they make contact with the attacker’s fist.

Knees

When receiving a blow to the stomach, abdomen or chest, a boxer should bend his knees to absorb the impact. For defense purposes, knee strikes are common.

Feet

If he is being attacked, a boxer must take a step back and counter-attack. He can then gain distance from his opponent. Boxers should also keep their balance when counter-attacking.

Stances

Boxing is only possible if a boxer has a clear stance. The way he defends himself will be determined by his stance. It determines his position and the direction he will face. Boxers can take many different stances. Here are some of the most common ones:

  • Low stance
  • High stance
  • Southpaw stance
  • Western stance

Moving your body

A boxer must be able to move around his opponent in order to win a fight. This involves changing positions, speed, rhythm and timing.

Rotation

When a boxer throws a punch, he rotates in order to increase the reach of his arm. The rotation is done at different speeds depending on the type of punch.

Combinations
