Meet Carla Howe, the Playboy model-turned-ring girl who has equally glamorous twin and loves to strip down to bikinis

DOUBLING UP might be the easiest skill for ex-Playboy model Carla Howe to learn as she progresses from ring girl to boxer.

That’s because the Anthony Joshua fan has a twin sister, Melissa, who was in the Playboy mansion with her.

Carla‘s move into boxing has been on The Money so far – as the ring girl for Floyd Mayweather now has one million Instagram followers.

And only a training injury stopped her from going in the middle of the ring this year rather than just around it.

She was due to fight 2021 Love Island star AJ Bunker.

But Carla said: “I actually got injured in sparring, I fractured a rib, I’m so happy I got an X-Ray which I posted on Instagram which proves me injury.”

Sister Melissa, meanwhile, has dated rapper Lil Wayne and was at footballer Dele Alli’s 21st birthday bash six years ago.

Alli’s career has gone downhill since, whereas the Howe twins are thriving.

Carla even danced with Mayweather in the ring.

And followers have labelled her “perfect” as well as “doll face” – which she must hope won’t be the state of her facial responses if she ever does fight.

She’s also not short of confidence.

When posting a panoramic pic from a lagoon across a sky of puffy clouds, she wrote: “Am I the view? … love this bikini.”

Luckily, her fans responded in the affirmative, one saying: “Best view forever.”

Ring girl Carla already has a lot on her plate but fancies fighting

Sister Melissa has 798k Instagram followers

  • Spare parts

Punching Techniques

There are seven types of punches available: Left Hook and Right Hook, Cross, Cross, Straight, Underhand, Overhand, Cross, Straight, Cross, Straight, Cross, Straight, and Overhand. Each punch is unique. Some punches are more powerful than others. For example, an uppercut requires great force. A straight punch, on the other hand requires less power and is quicker than other punches.

There are many combinations of punches. These are combinations which combine several punches in order to achieve a specific goal. One combination can have many parts. A combination may include multiple parts. For example, damage to the jaw of an opponent can be caused by a left hook and a right cross.

Guard Techniques

Boxers use their bodies to defend themselves against attack. He does this using his legs and arms, elbows as well as hands, knees and feet.

Legs

To defend against kicks, a boxer should use his legs. After receiving a kick, he will raise his leg and move away from the attacker. To avoid being kicked in the side, he bends down if the attacker attacks from the front. If the attack is from the side, he will bend his knees to avoid being kicked on the side.

Elbows

Elbow strikes are very effective because they inflict much pain. An elbow strike can be delivered directly or indirectly. Directly, you strike your opponent with your forearm. Indirectly, you hit him with another portion of your arm.

Hands

Boxers use their hands as a shield against incoming punches. To do this, they raise their fists higher than their heads and move their arms in the direction that the attack is coming. They then make contact with their attacker’s fist.

Knees

To absorb the impact of a punch to the stomach, abdomen, or chest, boxers should bend their knees. For defense purposes, knee strikes are common.

Feet

Boxers should respond to being attacked by their opponent by standing back and delivering counter-attacks. This will help him gain distance from his opponent. In addition, when delivering a counter-attack, a boxer should keep his balance.

Stances

Boxing is only possible if a boxer has a clear stance. How he defends his self will depend on how he stances. It determines his position and the direction he will face. Boxers can take many different stances. These are some of our most favorite:

  • Low stance
  • High stance
  • Southpaw stance
  • Western stance

The Body Movement

A boxer must change his position, speed and rhythm in order to win the fight. This requires changing your position, speed, and rhythm.

Rotation

Boxers rotate their arms when they throw a punch. The rotation is done at different speeds depending on the type of punch.

Combinations

The timing of each individual punch affects the effectiveness or failure of a combination. A combination is good if it starts with a strong punch then ends with a weaker one.

Sparring

Sparring, a boxing practice session, is designed to improve your boxing skills. During sparring sessions, a boxer trains his mind as well as his body. The purpose of sparring is, in short, to learn how fight and not get hurt.

It is important to be patient and dedicated when learning how to box. Boxing is a sport that requires dedication and perseverance.
