And the raw novice was ridiculed for his performance, with his inexperience on show in the round two loss.

But Swarmz – real name Brandon Scott – vowed to come back stronger and refused to give up.

He returned once more in January and beat YouTuber Ryan Taylor after the first punch he threw caused a brutal eye injury.

It earned Swarmz a crack at redemption and a co-headliner fight against KSI’s brother Deji.

He weighed in at 199lb (14st 2lb) before losing to KSI but now faces Deji at 170lb (12st 2lb).

It means Swarmz, 26, will have lost an astonishing TWO STONE by the time he laces up the gloves for the third time.

And the Londoner wants to go full circle by eyeing a rematch with KSI, 29, if he can get past brother Deji, 26.

He told media: “I’m going to beat Deji and then I’m going to take the mic and call out KSI straight away.

“That’s the main guy that’s on my card right now, I just want my revenge, simple as.”

Swarmz commented on his drastic transformation and questioned Deji’s work ethic.

He said: “Deji, I don’t focus on what he does. This is all about me, not Deji. I don’t care, I’ve trained, I’m in shape.

“He doesn’t look like he’s in shape but anyways, May 13th we’ll go.”

Boxing is based on the following skills:

  • Techniques for punching
  • Techniques for protecting yourself
  • Footwork
  • Stance
  • Movement of the body
  • Defense
  • Combination
  • Rotation
  • Sparring

Punching Techniques

There are seven kinds of punches: Left Hook, Right Hook, Uppercut, Cross, Straight, Overhand and Underhand. Each punch is different. Some punches require more strength than others. For example, an uppercut requires great force. On the contrary, a straight punch takes less power but is faster than most punches.

There are many combinations of punches. These are combinations of punches which work together to achieve a goal. A combination may have multiple parts. For example, a combination of a left and right hook will result in damage to the opponent’s jaw.

Guard Techniques

A boxer uses his body to protect himself against attacks. He uses his arms, legs, elbows, knees, knees, and feet to do this.

Legs

A boxer must use his legs to defend against kicks. He raises his leg when he is hit with a kick and then moves away from the opponent. If the attacker is coming from the front, he will bend at the knees to avoid getting kicked on either side. But if the attack comes in the back, he will stand straight and block the kick using his foot.

Elbows

Elbow strikes are very effective because they inflict much pain. You can either deliver an elbow strike directly, or indirectly. Directly means that you hit your opponent with your forearm while indirectly means that you hit him with another part of your arm.

Hands

Boxers use their hands to block incoming blows. To do so, they raise their fists above their head and move them towards the direction of the attack. Then, they touch the attacker’s hand.

Knees

When receiving a blow to the stomach, abdomen or chest, a boxer should bend his knees to absorb the impact. Defense purposes are often served by knee strikes.

Feet

A boxer should take control of an attack and respond with counter-attacks. This will allow him to gain distance from his opponent. Also, boxers must maintain their balance while delivering counter-attacks.

Stances

Boxing is only possible if a boxer has a clear stance. The way he defends himself will be determined by his stance. It defines where he faces his opponent and how he positions his body. There are many stances available to boxers. Here are the most commonly used ones:

  • Low stance
  • High stance
  • Southpaw stance
  • Western stance

Body Movement

Boxers must maneuver around their opponent to win fights. This requires changing your position, speed, and rhythm.

Rotation

Rotating his arm to increase the puncher’s reach is a key part of boxing. You can rotate at different speeds depending upon the punch.

Combinations

The timing of each punch will determine the effectiveness and efficiency of a combination. A combination is good if it starts with a strong punch then ends with a weaker one.

Spare parts

Sparring is a training session that improves boxing skills. Boxers learn to train their mind and bodies during sparring sessions. The goal of sparring is to learn to fight, and not to get hurt.

To sum it all, boxing requires patience and dedication. You need to train hard and long in order to become a better boxer.
