The Gypsy King is behind Ukranian star Oleksandr Usyk

Anthony Joshua is rated number three

A proposed fight between the pair fell through in March, with the two parties unable to agree on a deal.

It is believed Usyk was even prepared to agree a 70-30 purse split in Fury’s favour to make the fight happen.

Fury, 34, is above the likes of Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua, however.

Wilder is rated No2 in the world, while AJ, off the back of his win over Jermaine Franklin, has been placed at No3.

AJ defeated Jermaine Franklin by a unanimous decision in his return to the ring.

After the fight he then hinted at a potential fight with world No2, Fury.

British fighter Joe Joyce is viewed as the No4 best boxer in the world ahead of number five Andy Ruiz Jr.

Fury’s recent foe Dillian Whyte is placed at No6.
