Freddie Flintoff Smiles on His Last Day with England Cricket Team After Mentoring Mates

Final Day with England Cricket Team

Former cricket star, Freddie Flintoff, was seen smiling on his last day with the England cricket team. He was snapped coaching the squad ahead of the 3rd One Day International match between England and Ireland at the Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol. Sporting an England-branded bucket hat, hoodie, and sunglasses, Flintoff watched as the team practiced.

Return to Public Appearances

This marks Flintoff's first public appearance after a year since his near-fatal car crash during the filming of Top Gear. The injuries from the crash were still apparent on his face, but it didn't dampen his spirits as he mentored and coached the squad.

Working with the Team

After working with the England team in their matches against New Zealand, Flintoff continued his role as part-coach and part-mentor for the three-match series against Ireland. However, he will not be involved in the upcoming World Cup. There is a possibility that he may join the white-ball tour of the Caribbean in December.

Revelations and Safety Concerns

Last week, it was revealed that Flintoff had expressed safety concerns before his 130mph crash on Top Gear. According to insiders, he questioned the safety of the stunt on the day of the accident and voiced his worries to the Top Gear crew. This has raised doubts about the future of the show.

Recovery and Comeback?

Former England teammate, Steve Harmison, has stated that Flintoff is in good form following his recovery. Insiders have also mentioned that it may be the perfect time for Freddie to make a cricketing comeback. While he won't be part of the World Cup squad, there may be opportunities for him to contribute in the future.
