Barcelona to settle for Arsenal outcast Hector Bellerin after being priced out of transfer for ex-Spurs flop Juan Foyth

BARCELONA are reportedly eyeing a move for former academy ace Hector Bellerin after being priced out of a transfer for ex-Tottenham flop Juan Foyth.

Bellerin left Barca’s youth ranks for Arsenal in 2011.

The Spaniard, 27, went on to make 239 appearances for the Gunners, winning three FA Cups.

However, Bellerin’s career at the Emirates has stalled and he spent last season on loan at Real Betis – the club he supported growing up.

His loan in Spain was a success.

Bellerin helped Betis win the Spanish Cup, and the right-back wanted to stay – but the finances behind the deal couldn’t make it possible.

And according to Sport, Barca now hold an interest in Bellerin after being priced out of a move for Villarreal’s Foyth.

The Argentine has a £35million release clause, which Barca are unwilling to meet.

A move could now be made for Arsenal outcast Bellerin, who could be available for FREE this month.

Barca boss Xavi is keen to sign a right-back as he doesn’t have confidence in Sergino Dest.

Dest has not been included in a Barca matchday squad so far this season.

The US international has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp this summer.
