MANCHESTER UNITED are considering a shock transfer move for Barcelona star Memphis Depay, according to reports.
The striker, 28, had an ill-fated spell at United between 2015-2017.

He was signed for £31million by Louis van Gaal but failed to live up to expectations after scoring seven goals in 53 games and was subsequently sold to Lyon.
But with a new Dutchman in the dugout in Erik ten Hag United could make an £8m bid for the Netherlands international, report Marca.
Depay is available for transfer with Barcelona desperate to get him off their wage bill.
He had been tipped to move to Juventus with Barca even willing to cancel his contract to push through the switch.
But that move has stalled despite Depay holding talks with the Juve hierarchy.
That has created a chance for a Pemier League club to pounce with United aiming to seize the initiative.
Tottenham are also monitoring the forward’s situation and were originally willing to bid around £15m with Antonio Conte keen.
Newcastle have also been credited with an interest in Depay but the Barca man was not keen on joining Toon.
Barca are also trying to offload Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with time running out in the transfer window.
United are keen on the former Arsenal striker but reports claim he would prefer a move to Chelsea amid a £15m bid from the Blues.
