Chelsea legend Didier Drogba’s son Isaac, 20, signs for Italian fourth-tier minnows Folgore Caratese

DIDIER DROGBA’S son Isaac has signed for Italian Serie D side Folgore Caratese.

A striker like his old man, the younger Drogba is looking to take his first steps into a senior football.

At age 20, he has already racked up plenty of experience at youth level.

Like his dad, he donned the blue of Chelsea while making his way in the game.

And he also followed in Didier’s footsteps in 2018, by signing for Guingamp.

Drogba, 42, scored 23 goals in 49 games for the French side between 2002 and 2003.

Isaac represented their Under-19 and B squads, before making his next move.

He joins a side currently sat in seventh, two points outside of the play-offs.

Dad Didier hung his boots up in 2018 following an incredible career at the top of the game.

Starting at Le Mans before joining Guingamp, Drogba hit the big time at Marseille, where his 32 goals in 55 games earned him a big-money move to Chelsea.

And over the next 11 years, and two spells, he would make himself a legend at Stamford Bridge.

Scoring 164 goals along the way, the Ivorian was pivotal in four Premier League titles wins, four FA Cup triumphs, three League Cups and the 2012 Champions League.

After 2015 he brought the curtain down on his playing days with North American stints at Montreal Impact and Phoenix Rising, having also represented Shanghai Shenhua and Galatasaray during his illustrious career.
