The Red Devils are on course for their worst trophy drought since their relegation in 1974 after Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid on aggregate.

Atletico boss Diego Simeone wasn’t so lucky to have a friendly-ish reaction.
The Argentine had missiles launched at him as his resolute side stunned the crowd into silence.
Most of the things thrown appeared to be drinks – but they missed their target as Simeone made it to cover without being directly hit.
And now the Premier League side could be heavily fined for the actions of their fans.
