NOTTINGHAM FOREST will reportedly have to stump up £17.5million straight away to beat rivals to the signature of Maxwel Cornet.
Relegated Burnley want their versatile star’s release clause paid in full to let him go this summer, according to Sportsmail.

Forest are thought to be one of four clubs in the running for the Ivory Coast wide-man, who can also play as a striker.
Everton and Fulham are said to have proposed loan deals with an option for a £20m permanent switch next summer.
And the BBC say there is another “unnamed club” in the running for the 25-year-old.
Beeb reporter Fraser Fletcher tweeted: “[They are] all pushing hard and keen on securing [Cornet]. [The] best offer wins.”
The Clarets signed Cornet for £12.8m from Lyon last summer.
He was their top scorer with nine goals and two assists and has attracted lots of interest following Burnley’s final-day relegation from the Prem.
Earlier this month, The Athletic reported Frank Lampard‘s Toffees were leading the chase to sign him.
Forest are looking to strengthen their frontline after ending their 23-year Premier League exile with a Championship play-off win over Huddersfield in May.
The Reds have already brought in Union Berlin forward Taiwo Awoniyi and England striker Jesse Lingard on a free after he left Manchester United.
Steve Cooper’s side also continue to be linked with a move for Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis.
