Strikers with most headed goals revealed with Man Utd’s Cristiano Ronaldo putting rivals to shame with staggering record

CRISTIANO RONALDO has scored the most headed goals as a striker since the 2009/10 season putting rivals to shame with his staggering record.

The 37-year-old added another headed goal to his collection on Saturday when Manchester United saw off top-four rivals Tottenham with a 3-2 win at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo bagged himself a hat-trick, his second-ever for the Red Devils with the first coming in the 6-0 win over Newcastle in 2008.

Since the start of the 2009 season, Ronaldo has scored 66 headers in 414 appearances in Europe’s top leagues.

CR7 averages 0.16 headed goals per game.

On his hat-trick, Ronaldo said: “Tremendously happy with my first hat-trick since I came back to Old Trafford!
