Wilfried Zaha deals ultimatum to Crystal Palace over £200,000 contract stand-off amid free transfer links with PSG

WILFRIED ZAHA wants to see more ambition from Crystal Palace before making a decision over his future.

The Eagles legend is currently a free agent after his Selhurst Park contract expired last month and is set for more talks with the club this week.

Wilfried Zaha has issued Crystal Palace an ultimatum despite their record £200,000-per-week offer

Zaha wants to see more ambition from Palace and has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain

There has been interest from French champions Paris Saint-Germain as well as Italian title winners Napoli.

Both Lazio and Fenerbahce have expressed interest, however Palace have offered a club-record £200,000-a-week four-year deal to try and keep their star man in South London.

Roy Hodgson’s appointment on a one-year deal has encouraged Zaha, but the winger still wants further signs of ambition from Palace through talks and the transfer market before committing his future to the club once again.

Hodgson has set his squad the target of a top-half Premier League finish this season.

So far this summer Jefferson Lerma has arrived on a free transfer, but the Eagles will have to do more to impress Zaha.

The 30-year-old, who missed the end of last season through injury, is set for talks with chairman Steve Parish this week when he returns from his honeymoon having married this summer.

And Palace team-mate Joel Ward is hoping Zaha decides to continue at Selhurst Park.

He said: “He’s an incredible player and has been a talisman for us throughout so many years. What he has done for this club is incredible.

“It would be great if he did [stay], but everyone would wish him all the best whatever he decides to do.

“From a selfish point of view, you want him in the team. But you have to respect what he wants to do.

“I’ve spoken with him now and again. We will see how it goes.”

This comes after reports suggesting Zaha has agreed on deals with Lazio, Fenerbahce and Saudi outfit Al-Nassr.
