Sky Sports Apologizes for Ferrari Chief’s X-rated Rant Ahead of Italian Grand Prix

Emotional Outburst

Sky Sports has issued an apology after Ferrari chief Fred Vasseur delivered an X-rated rant during a live interview. The incident occurred ahead of the Italian Grand Prix, which took place at the iconic Monza circuit, the home race for Ferrari.

Passion and Emotion

Vasseur's outburst came after the third and final practice session at Monza. He expressed his frustration, saying, "I tried all week to calm everybody down and say, 'Guys, you can't score more points in Monza than somewhere else'. But this is bulls***. When you arrive on Thursday morning at Monza with all the guys in red, you can feel it. You can feel the passion, the emotion. For us, we have to take it as a positive and get an extra push from this."

A Quick Apology

Presenter Simon Lazenby quickly apologized to viewers for the language used by Vasseur during the interview. Lazenby acknowledged the emotional nature of the conversation but made sure to address the inappropriate language.

Challenging Season for Ferrari

This season has been tough for the Ferrari team, with Charles Leclerc securing their only two podium finishes in 2023, both in third place. Leclerc currently sits in sixth in the Drivers' Championship, one spot ahead of his teammate Carlos Sainz.

Qualifying Success

Despite their challenges, Ferrari showed promising performance in qualifying, with Sainz claiming pole position and Leclerc set to start in third on the grid for the Italian Grand Prix.

Verstappen's Streak

All eyes will be on Max Verstappen as he aims to secure a record-breaking 10th consecutive race win this weekend. The Dutch driver has been dominating the Formula 1 circuit and is the one to watch in the upcoming race.
