2.10 Cheltenham result – day 3: Who won Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle 2022? How every horse finished

THIRD WIND took a superb victory in the Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival on Thursday afternoon.

In a thrilling finale, jockey Tom O’Brien led the field home to claim the win, pipping Alaphilippe inside the final few metres.

O’Brien claimed the victory on Third Wind

Mill Green came third, with Winter Fog and outsider Honest Vic rounding out the top five.

Speaking after the win, O’Brien told ITV: “He always been the bridesmaid. I’m lost for words.”

The race was referred to the stewards but the result was not changed.

ITV 1 will be showing the first five of the seven races each day, with Ed Chamberlain and Francesca Cumani at the helm.

ITV 1 begin their coverage at 12.50pm following the news.
