Inside Bryony Frost’s awesome summer from stunning Royal Ascot look to every step of her breathtaking US tour

FROM dazzling at Royal Ascot to feeling ‘outrageously’ out of her comfort zone on a breathtaking US tour – Bryony Frost has certainly made the most of her summer in the sun.

The trailblazing jockey, 27, has been enjoying her enforced time out of the saddle after breaking her back at the Grand National meeting.

A gutted Bryony had to miss the big race after she was found to have fractured a vertebra when falling from Thyme White at the Merseyside track.

Sun Racing columnist Bryony said she knew she was in for a world of pain even before she hit the deck.

And so it proved, with an MRI scan later confirming the extent of her bone bruising.

Not that that has put a dampener on how much fun she’s had during her rehab – or even attending the races.

Bryony was a surprise guest at Royal Ascot back in June.

Punters are used to seeing the former King George winner slogging it out in the mud during the dark and gloomy National Hunt season, which takes place during the winter and into the spring.

Even Bryony admitted she was ‘looking a little different’ when turning up to the Berkshire track on Gold Cup day.

Wearing a red, white and purple flowery dress and ‘awesome’ Carrie Jenkinson hat, fans said Bryony looked ‘superb’ for the showcase summer spectacular.

The rest of us were roasting in the heatwave that week.

But Bryony was well used to the sizzling sun by that point having gone on a tour of the States that took in the likes of Florida.

The sandy beaches and amazing sunsets were a million miles away from riding winners in the mud in Britain

Bryony posted one photo enjoying the view in the Sunshine State.

Again a million miles from fences, hurdles and riding winners, she looked to be really relishing her break from the track – even if it still represented a personal challenge.

Bryony wrote alongside the photo: “Now do I feel outrageously out of my comfort zone here? 100 per cent.

“However, comfort zones are only what we get used to. Break your routine and you will find new levels to what you’re comfortable with in your zone.”

Bryony also took in the sights and sounds of the stunning Clearwater Beach just outside Tampa.

A guest of prominent horse owner Chris Giles, Bryony posted a photo showing herself relaxing on the fluffy sand and crashing waves at sunset.

After that it was onto Maryland where Bryony spent time with her brother Hadden.

Then it was hiking up the massive Blue Ridge Mountain range, standing 3,680ft above sea level and in the clouds.

After that it was back to sea level and Clearwater before flying home for her Ascot day out.

And in good news for her fans, Bryony just yesterday posted a snap of herself back on a horse near the Avon Dam in South Dartmoor.

Let’s hope it’s a sign she’s well on track to being back racing again soon.
