ROSIE TAPNER is the stunning catwalk model turned Racing League star who’s lighting up the blockbuster new £2million series.
A friend of Cara Delevingne, Rosie signed with fashion icons Balenciaga when she was just 15.
One year later she was on the cover of Vogue UK and fronting campaigns for the likes of Burberry and Ralph Lauren.
But these days you’re more likely to find her mucking out horses than getting glammed up for a spin down the catwalk.
Rosie, a self-confessed adrenaline junkie, is manager of Racing League leaders Team Swish.
Under the expert riding of Saffie Osborne, they have shot to the top of the table with the likes of Frankie Dettori and Oisin Murphy trailing in their wake.
Osborne, who has overcome death threats and horrific injuries, is also top of the jockeys’ table and chasing a £25,000 bonus.
Decent cash for a 19-year-old.
But behind the scenes it’s Tapner who’s been pulling the strings.
Turns out she knows a thing or two about horses and can even empathise with jockeys in the saddle.
Rosie, 25, took part in the Magnolia Cup at Glorious Goodwood in 2018, getting up at 4.30am every morning, riding work and putting in hours in the gym.
She was competent on horseback anyway – but learning to handle a 500kg thoroughbred who can run at 40mph was a different task altogether.
Rosie said: “My first day at the yard was terrifying.
“I have ridden all my life but I’ve had to relearn how to ride completely.

“My horse at home is more like a mini and a racehorse is like a Ferrari – but with no brake.
“They are a different machine totally, but I learned to just completely love it.”
Since then she has fronted TV coverage at Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood – as well as having a starring role in last week’s Racing League coverage from Lingfield.
Oh, and when she’s not there you can find her bungee jumping, sky diving and walking across the wing of a plane.
Or in training to swim the Channel.
It might not be quite as dramatic, but don’t be surprised to see ‘Racing League winner’ added to that list of accomplishments.
