Punters Excited for Monster 76-Race Boxing Day Card

UK punters are eagerly anticipating a jam-packed day of racing on Boxing Day, with a staggering 76 races scheduled to take place in just over five hours. This means there will be a new race approximately every three minutes, offering plenty of action for racing enthusiasts.

Blockbuster King George Takes Centre Stage

On the busiest day in the sporting calendar, the highlight of the Boxing Day card is the highly anticipated King George at Kempton. This Grade 1 race will start at 2.30pm and will be broadcast live on ITV1 and Racing TV, ensuring that fans don't miss a moment of the thrilling action.

A Day Packed with Racing Excitement

The racing festivities will kick off well before the King George, with a humble maiden hurdle at Down Royal starting the day's proceedings at 11.40am. Sedgefield and Wetherby will follow shortly after, with their own race cards beginning at 11.45am and 11.52am respectively. The action will continue to unfold with Aintree, Fontwell, and Leopardstown all hosting races throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Market Rasen will start their seven-race card at 12.05pm, followed by Wincanton at 12.20pm. Limerick will begin their races at 12.28pm, and finally, Kempton will kick off at 12.45pm with a thrilling novices' handicap chase.

But don't be fooled by the 1-hour and 5-minute gap until racing starts at Wolverhampton. During this time, there will be two races each at Down Royal, Sedgefield, Wetherby, Aintree, Fontwell, Leopardstown, Market Rasen, Wincanton, and Limerick, as well as one race at Kempton. This ensures that there is non-stop racing action throughout the day.

Enjoy Responsibly and Pick Your Targets Carefully

With such a packed schedule, it is crucial for punters to bet responsibly and choose their targets wisely. Boxing Day offers a plethora of top-class racing, making it essential to approach the day with a strategic mindset.
