Qipco Champion Stakes racecard: £11m wonderhorse Mishriff huge favourite for money-spinning Ascot romp

ASCOT is getting ready for one of the biggest Flat races of the year this Saturday.

Some £4million will be up for grabs over the course of the day.

Mishriff has left his rivals trailing in his wake and can land the big race at Ascot on Saturday

But the winner of the Qipco Champion Stakes will take home just shy of a quarter of that, with £714,546 going to the victor.

It’s a mega-money cheque and the favourite in the market is a money-making machine.

John and Thady Gosden’s Mishriff has won more than £11million from just 13 races.

One of those was the £14.3m Saudi Cup – the world’s richest race – in February, with Mishriff nabbing £7.3m for connections.

Not bad at all.

Here, Sun Racing looks at all the runners for the premier race on the final day of the Flat season.
